Reflection

I really like this course, this course is not easy for me because English is the Second foreign language for me. Listening still can be good for me, but writing and speaking are very difficult. So I worked very hard to learn in this lesson, I spent a lot of time for learning.
In this semester, I learned to use technology, such as: how to create a bloger. For me, Flickr, VoiceThread, I've never contacted with them. I am very pleased to get to know them.
I think my English has improved, because this semester I learned a lot of new words. I have a deeper understanding of how to do a good teacher now.

Art of teaching-----Teaching with PowerPoint

The video is selected from Emory University.
Art of Teaching: Best Practices from a Master Educator
Taught By Professor Patrick N. Allitt, Ph.D., University of California, Berkeley,
Lecture 8. Teaching with PowerPoint
Time:31:56

In my opinion, PowerPoint has many advantages.
When we use PowerPoint, we make information in the form of multi-media.With this multi-media,we can use the format of text, image, table, animation, music, film and television, students will be more interest in learning.
When we use PowerPoint, the presentation of information is quick and convenient. Teachers can quickly and easily render the teaching content just by clicking a mouse. We can save a lot of time to write on the blackboard.
With PowerPoint, information can be saved and can be reused. So information is easy to copy and to diffuse.
But,when we use this software,we should keep PowerPoint bold and simple, make text to a minimum and don't use the gimmicky options. For this point, I agree with the video.

My story ---- A clever fox!

A clever fox!

The wolf wanted to eat the fox, but it not easy to catch him.

One day the wolf said to the rabbit, I will go homme and I will lie in the bed. And you, you should tell the fox that I was dead.  When he comes to look me, you should chut the dor, and I will jump up and catch him. If you don't do that, I will eat you!"

So the rabbit went to the fox's house and knocked at the door.
"Who is it?" asked the fox. "It's the rabbit. I've come to tell you that the wolf is dead." Then he went away.
The the fox went to the wolf's house. He looked in through the window and saw the wolf lying in the bed with his eyes closed. He thought, "Is the wolf really dead or is he pretending be dead? If he is not dead, he'll catch me when I go near him." so he said, "the rabbit says that the wolf is dead. But he doesn't look like the dead  wolf. The mouth of the dead wolf is always open." When the wolf hear this, he thought, "I'll show him that I'm dead." So he opened his mouth.
The fox knew that the wolf isn't dead, and he ran as quickly as he could.
